ARH 604: Materials and Methods of Construction: The Wall Section
Residential – Typical Townhouse in San Francisco

 

ABSTRACT
The wall section and its related detail elevation and partial floor plan, key details provide a significant portion of a complete description of a building design. When these components are properly integrated, developed and displayed, a viewer can very quickly understand and evaluate the building. For these reasons, the wall section and its associated components are often included in an initial presentation of a schematic building design to a client.

This project is a three-story building with a flat roof and parapet and floor-to-floor height of 11’-0”. The south elevation will be the street facade of a typical townhouse in San Francisco residence 30’ wide with adjacent buildings left and right abutting the house. The facade will have windows and will feature external roof drainage and the building entry.
